Hi friend, it’s nice to meet you.

My name is Tagen Rowe (she/her pronouns).
I live on the Central Coast, NSW and love the idea of the beach but rarely make it past the red and yellow flags.

I didn’t always plan to be a photographer - I had my sights set on being an artist, then a teacher, then a midwife.. As each opportunity came along there were little things that got in the way, but I still needed a creative outlet. That’s when I started pouring my time into photography.

I’ve been photographing professionally since 2013 with breaks here and there to look after myself and my growing family. I’m mum to two beautiful children, a feminist, a lover of all things Shrek, a wearer of dangly earrings, and I firmly believe that my mum makes the best pavlova.

I currently hold a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney, am triple vaccinated against COVID 19, and am up to date on flu and Whooping Cough vaccinations and have a current & valid NSW Working With Children Check.

The last few years I have been working part time as a Disability Support Worker, and I love when I can transfer those skills to my photography sessions. I firmly believe everyone should have access to family photos in a way that works for them. I’m learning more every day about myself and others, and am neuro-affirming to the best of my ability!
